King Alfred leisure centre with its gym and swimming pool facilities is right on your doorstep. A 10 minute walk has tennis courts and watersports at Hove lagoon. George Street and shops along Church Road is 2 minutes away with bus routes into Brighton City centre and its approximately 15 minute walk away to Hove train station with it's London links.
Parking is on the road and can be limited but there are numerous pay & display bays. It costs just over £6 for 11 hours parking (restrictions are lifted between 8pm-9am). There is a machine on the road which takes cash or card, or the easiest way to do it is via the Brighton and Hove Council parking app which is called PayByPhone Parking'. On here you can enter how many hours you would like and pay with your card on the app. It is very easy to use, you just need to put in the location code which will be clearly stated on the signposts of the bay you park in. You can also allow notifications to pop up which will alert you to when your parking is going to expire. You can also buy numerous days at once, which is useful if you know you are not going to move your car for a couple of days.
